Together, you’ll release the survival patterns that kept you small and afraid, and begin to replace them with truth, trust, and self-compassion.
As you break through the hidden barriers that once kept you silent and small, you’ll begin to remember who you truly are — a woman created with divine potential, gifted with a voice that matters and called to live a life of meaning, impact, and deep connection. You’ll no longer be defined by the wounds of your past but by the truth of who you’ve always been. This isn’t just healing — it’s a return to your God-given worth, voice, and calling.

With a one-time payment, you’ll gain lifetime access to these powerful resources and can progress through them at your own pace.

This plan includes ALL THE RESOURCES in the Growth Path Blueprint, and the Essentials Blueprint bundled together in one comprehensive and transformative package.
The Official Launch Date of the COMING HOME 12-Week Journey is April 7, 2025.
In this space, you won’t have to hide the most tender parts of your story or pretend you have it all together. Your truth will be safe here, your voice will matter, and you’ll be met with compassion — never judgment.
You don’t have to worry that no one will understand or that sharing your story will bring more shame or rejection. The women beside you know this path intimately because they’ve walked their own versions of it. They understand what it’s like to question everything, to feel invisible, and to wonder if they’ll ever truly belong.
You won’t have to figure everything out on your own or wonder if you’re "doing healing right." Instead, you’ll have gentle guidance, compassionate coaching, and the transformative power of being supported by a group of brave, wholehearted women — where breakthroughs happen not by force, but through being witnessed with care and kindness.
And if you’ve ever feared that you’re too much, too broken, or too far behind, you’ll discover the opposite is true — that being seen and held just as you are is part of what makes deep, lasting healing possible.
Because here, you don’t have to heal in silence. You don’t have to prove your worth, earn your place, or carry it all alone anymore.
Even if you’ve spent a lifetime feeling invisible, unheard, unsafe, unworthy, and like you don’t belong — and even if you’ve been walking this painful path alone, without support or a safe circle of women who truly understand — this dynamic, heart-opening group coaching experience was created for you.
If the thought of sharing your story feels overwhelming, or you’ve learned to stay silent because no one ever truly listened, this is where that silence finally breaks. Together, we’ll uncover and begin to heal the twelve hidden barriers religious trauma leaves behind — the belief that you’re not enough, you’re alone, you’re invisible, you’re unsafe, you don’t matter, you're a failure, you're not wanted or chosen, you don’t belong, you're inferior, you’re unworthy, you're different, or you’re unlovable.
With compassionate coaching, guided exercises, and the power of being truly seen, heard, and supported by women walking this same path, you’ll begin to reclaim your voice, your worth, and your sense of belonging — not just for a moment, but in a way that creates lasting healing and a clearer path to your purpose.
When these barriers fall away, the gifts and potential God placed within you — the ones that have been buried under fear, shame, and silence — finally have room to breathe, grow, and guide you into the life you were always meant to live.
Don’t have a score? You can still take the quiz ✍🏼 and discover where you are on your healing path.
Right now, you may feel like you’ve outgrown surface-level solutions. Maybe you’ve tried therapy, support groups, or spiritual practices, yet something still feels blocked — like invisible barriers keep you stuck in old patterns of fear, self-doubt, and silence.
You’re not alone — and you don’t have to navigate this next stage by yourself. The Deep Dive Blueprint was created just for this moment. It’s a safe, powerful space for courageous, heart-centered women ready for real breakthroughs, where you’ll be guided to uncover the hidden beliefs holding you back, rewrite your story, and step into a future filled with freedom, connection, and a renewed sense of purpose.
“Life felt like it was slipping through my fingers… but now I’m building real connection—with God, with others, and with myself.” – K. T.
“Coaching gave me something books couldn’t: compassion, safety, and community. I don’t have to be perfect anymore. I can show up as I am—imperfect, growing, and deeply loved.” – K. T.
Before your first group session, you’ll receive a gentle, pre-recorded audio series and companion workbook designed to help you ease the fear of being seen and heard in a group setting. Through simple calming practices, compassionate mindset shifts, and self-expression tools, you’ll feel safer, more grounded, and better prepared to step into this experience at your own pace, in your own way.
To make sure you feel fully seen and supported from the very start, you’ll meet with Debra for a private 1:1 mapping session. Together, you’ll uncover the hidden barriers holding you back, name your personal healing goals, and create a simple, compassionate roadmap to help you navigate the group experience with clarity and confidence. This is your time to feel heard, understood, and ready to begin — knowing your story, your pace, and your heart matter here.
Your journey doesn’t end when the program does — you’ll receive ongoing access to a private support space inside the Religious Trauma Sisters’ Circle, just for Deep Dive graduates. This is where you can stay connected to your sisters, share wins, receive encouragement, and continue growing together — because lasting healing happens when we walk alongside each other, even after the program ends.
At the end of your 3-month journey, you’ll meet 1:1 with Debra for a personal closing session — a compassionate space to reflect on how far you’ve come, honor the breakthroughs you’ve experienced, and gently map your next steps.
This isn’t just a review — it’s a chance to pause and recognize how much you’ve already reclaimed: your voice, your worth, your sense of belonging, and the truth of who you are beneath the layers of religious trauma.
Together, we’ll explore how the healing work you’ve done has cleared the path for what’s next — whether that’s stepping into a long-buried calling, reconnecting with your gifts and desires, or simply learning to walk through life with more peace, confidence, and trust in your own voice. This personal session helps you leave the container with intention, knowing you have the tools, clarity, and inner trust to keep moving forward — no longer held back by old beliefs, but guided by your God-given potential and the truth of who you’ve been all along.

Our community and programs are thoughtfully designed to integrate women-centered learning and coaching. This approach is essential because healing from religious trauma (or any trauma) requires more than traditional methods—it demands a strategy that addresses the unique barriers women face in their journey to wholeness.
In the Religious Trauma Sisters' Circle, we recognize the unseen, deeply ingrained patterns at the level of self-concept that often hold women back and shape their choices and beliefs. These invisible barriers can feel impossible to overcome without the right support and understanding.
Through our women-centered approach, we help uncover and unravel these patterns, empowering women to release what no longer serves them. This transformative process expedites healing, instills truth, and creates the foundation for a brand-new story—one defined by freedom, authenticity, and hope.

Religious trauma occurs when teachings, experiences, or relationships within a faith context cause emotional, psychological, or spiritual harm. It often shows up as guilt, shame, fear, or confusion—especially about who God is or who you are. These feelings can create disconnection: guilt separating you from God, shame disconnecting you from yourself, and fear distancing you from others.
For some, religious trauma intersects with even deeper wounds, like narcissistic or sexual abuse. If that’s part of your story, please know you’re not alone. This community is here to honor your journey with kindness, compassion, and understanding. You deserve a safe space to process, heal, and reconnect with yourself, others, and a God of unconditional love.
It’s okay to feel hesitant—starting a healing journey is a big step, and it’s normal to feel unsure. Being “ready” doesn’t mean having it all figured out or feeling completely confident. It simply means being open to taking one small step toward exploring what’s possible for you.
You might worry about what you’ll lose—relationships, community, or even your connection to God. But healing isn’t about losing everything; it’s about gaining clarity, peace, and freedom. In my own journey, I found that rather than losing people or my faith, I restored and deepened relationships I thought were beyond repair. You don’t have to do this perfectly or alone. We’ll meet you where you are and walk with you gently and at your own pace.
This journey is about meeting you where you are, and we’ve designed a gentle quiz to help guide you to the level that aligns with your current stage of healing. Whether you’re just starting to explore or ready for deeper transformation, there’s a space tailored to your needs.
If you still feel unsure or want more personalized guidance, we’re here to help. Feel free to reach out at [email protected], and we’ll work together to find the best fit for you. You’re never alone in this.
That’s amazing—it shows how much you care about your growth. Trying other methods means you’ve already begun your journey, and that’s a powerful step. This program, however, is different. It’s not about giving you more information or asking you to study harder. It’s about creating experiences that lead to real breakthroughs.
Here, you’ll find a community of women who’ve felt invisible, unworthy, or stuck and who’ve learned to reclaim their sense of self. With the guidance of experienced coaches and a team deeply committed to your success, we’ll help you map out a clear path toward healing and purpose.
This program focuses on undoing false beliefs about God and yourself, restoring your relationships, and equipping you to live a life rooted in truth and freedom. You won’t just understand your pain—you’ll move beyond it to a place of joy, clarity, and fulfillment.
Each level of the program is designed with your life in mind. Here’s how they work:
Essentials Blueprint: A flexible introduction that you can explore entirely at your own pace. Community support is always available whenever you need it.
Growth Path Blueprint: A 12-week program with weekly exercises, group support, and live office hours. This immersive experience lets you travel your path at your own pace while still feeling supported by Debra and the community.
Deep Dive Blueprint: A 3-month intensive that includes weekly 90-minute coaching sessions and reflective growth work. It’s not about taking up lots of time—it’s about creating meaningful transformation through your commitment to yourself and the group.
Private Coaching: A four-month program with 12 personalized sessions for women ready to dive deeply into healing and make lasting breakthroughs.
This journey is about making time for you and your healing. Every minute you invest is a step closer to the life you’ve been longing for.
Take a deep breath—you’re not alone, and there’s no pressure here. If you join and feel you need to pause, slow down, or adjust, we’ll work with you to find what feels right. This community is built on compassion and flexibility, ensuring that your journey unfolds in a way that truly honors where you are.
Investing in yourself is a courageous step, but it can also feel overwhelming. We’ve designed the levels with care to provide both accessibility and value. Starting with The Essentials or The Growth Path is a wonderful way to begin without overextending yourself.
If you’d like to explore options, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’ll do our best to help you find a way forward.
Not at all. This program is for anyone healing from religious trauma, regardless of their current or past beliefs. It’s about creating space to rediscover their values, faith, or spirituality—on their own terms—and reconnecting with a God of love or simply with themselves in a way that feels authentic and safe.
Yes and no. While rooted in a compassionate understanding of God’s love, this program is not about doctrine or religion. It’s about helping you heal from harmful teachings and experiences and guiding you toward a faith—or self-connection—that feels free, safe, and full of love.
We honor each woman’s unique journey, exploring trauma patterns and uncovering healing principles that align with love, grace, and truth. This is a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can heal in your own way, free from pressure or coercion.
That’s completely okay. You are in charge of your journey here, and there’s no pressure to share. Many women find breakthroughs simply by observing and being part of the community. In our live sessions, "side-door" coaching often allows you to experience healing by witnessing another woman’s story—helping you process your own without feeling the need to speak.
Of course! This is a big decision, and it’s normal to want more clarity. You can contact me at [email protected] anytime. I’m here to listen, answer your questions, and help you feel confident in taking the next step toward your healing.

Creating the Religious Trauma Sisters’ Circle has been a deeply held dream of mine for a long time. I’m here because I believe in you—your strength, your resilience, and your God-given ability to rise above the stories and systems that have kept you stuck. Not just for your own healing, but for those you love and those whose lives you’re meant to touch.
If I had to sum up my mission, it would be this: I want you to know who God truly is—and just as importantly, who He isn’t—so nothing keeps you from becoming the woman you were always meant to be.
But this path? I didn’t plan it. If you had asked me as a little girl what I wanted to be when I grew up, I probably would’ve said “camp counselor” and called it good. I never imagined I’d be helping women heal from spiritual wounds they don’t always have words for.
Then life happened. A hidden form of high-control religion devastated my family and brought me to the edge of my emotional and spiritual capacity. That breaking point became a turning point. What came next was harder: slowly realizing that much of what I believed about God, myself, and love had been shaped by fear, silence, and pressure to be someone I wasn’t.
I wasn’t walking away from my faith—I was trying to find what was real. Not the version that required me to shrink, strive, or perform… but one rooted in love, not fear. In truth, not pressure. In belonging, not shame.
Through that journey, I uncovered what I now call the 12 Hidden Barriers of Religious Trauma—deep, internalized beliefs like “I’m not enough,” “I don’t belong,” “I’m unlovable,” “I’m too much,” or “I’ll always be alone.” These beliefs weren’t born in us. They were planted, reinforced, and spiritualized. And like so many women of faith, I carried them for years, thinking they were true.
Inside the Circle, we begin to name and heal these barriers together. We talk about the real struggles—religious trauma, yes—but also the day-to-day battles with self-doubt, impostor syndrome, emotional overwhelm, backsliding, and the ache of feeling invisible or unworthy. We don’t skip over those parts here. We transform them.
This is not about rebellion. It’s about returning—to your voice, your identity, your connection with God and others. To the version of you that’s always been there, waiting to breathe again.
I know how precious your time and energy are—and I also know the fear of investing in something that might not help. That’s why this Circle isn’t just content. It’s community. It’s clarity. It’s coaching. It’s change.
You don’t have to walk away from your faith to heal. You don’t have to figure this out alone. You’re not too much. You’re not too broken. And you’re not too late.
So please—come all the way in. Sit all the way down. Make yourself at home. We’re saving you a seat. And I can’t wait to hear your story.
—Debra Shafer, Author, Women's Religious Trauma Specialist, Mount Shasta, California, U.S.A.
As a Mental Health Coach, Speaker, Psychology student, and survivor of sexual trauma, I’m deeply passionate about helping others see the light beyond their darkest moments.
My mission is to remind you that you can thrive no matter what you’ve gone through. Trauma doesn’t define you- God does. I know firsthand how isolating it can feel when shame dominates your life, trapping you in a cycle of low self-worth, people-pleasing, toxic relationships, codependency, underachievement, overcompensation, and living beneath the weight of trauma, and feeling like you’re not enough.
But here’s the truth- you deserve healing, love, and freedom. You don’t have to live in the prison of trauma anymore. You have the strength within you, and I’m here to walk with you every step of the way as you rise above trauma. This space is yours, where you’re Seen, Heard, and Supported. Together, we’ll unlock your strength, rediscover your joy, and move toward the life you deserve- a life where you don’t just survive but truly thrive.
Come on in. Take your place in this Circle. There’s so much waiting for you here, and I can’t wait to journey with you.

I know by experience the confusion and pain of losing your identity and sense of purpose in life. But I want you to know there is hope. There is hope for more beyond the abuse. You can truly heal and become the woman that God created you to be. You can walk in your true purpose with confidence that no one will be able to steal from you again.
My mission is to help you become healed, empowered, and whole as you discover your identity and worth after experiencing the soul-crushing effects of narcissistic abuse by connecting to the true Source—God.
It is my pleasure to help you unravel and discard the false narratives and beliefs that have been ruling your life for far too long. It is time to write a new and true story! I cannot wait to connect with you and support you on this life-transforming journey.

*The Scattered Flock - "For thus says the Lord God: Indeed I Myself will search for My sheep and seek them out. As a shepherd seeks out his flock on the day he is among His Scattered Sheep, so will I seek out My Sheep and deliver them from all the places where they were scattered on a cloudy and dark day. And I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land; I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, in the valleys and in all the inhabited places of the country... I will seek what was lost and bring back what was driven away, bind up the broken, and strengthen what was sick." Ezekiel 34: 11, 12, 16a
Religious Trauma Sisters' Circle Agreement (please raise your hand in agreement)
"I understand the deeply personal and sensitive nature of what is shared here in the Sisters' Circle, and I am fully committed to honoring and protecting the privacy of every sister in this community. I agree to keep all conversations, discussions, and chats within this space completely confidential. To further respect this commitment, I will use headphones when playing any community content if others outside the Circle are nearby. We have a zero-tolerance policy for violating anyone’s privacy. Together, let’s ensure this remains a safe and sacred space for everyone to share and heal."
